American Express: "Add Business Gold"

Hello all,

 

I received a popup when I logged into my Amex account recently offering 90,000 rewards points if I accept the business gold card. There's also a link to the offer within my account. From the lingo below this doesn't seem like it would be a hard credit inquiry:

But then I see "Apply Now" in my account under Useful Links:

Does anyone know if this would be, in fact, a soft pull? I have no reason to apply for this card since I already have several business cards including the SimplyCash, Plum and Platinum but if this is a soft pull + 90K rewards points it then becomes justifiable to me! It seems like it will be a soft pull since it says "information that we have on file will be used" and "Accept this Offer" but then it says "Apply" under Useful Links within my account so one never knows for sure until you press that button!

Hi Uncle Money . . . I have 3 Amex cards and the last 2 were soft pulls . . . I even received a pre-approved loan of $15k and accepted . . . all were soft pulls except for my original Amex card . . . I am totaly happy will all my Amex products . . . best wishes!!!

I wonder if their collabs are SPs. I'm eyeing a 130,000 points Hilton/Amex business card. I'll call Monday.

It's almost definitely a soft pull.... but no guarantees.
