Decided to apply on a whim using the 20k bonus with $3k spend and got instant approval:

Interestingly they denied me for a personal Hilton card about 4 weeks ago. My other Amex cards:

Platinum (personal)

Mercedes Platinum (personal)

PRG (personal)

SPG (personal) $13k

Delta Platinum (business) $10k

What has been your expereince with requesting a limit increase on a new business account with Amex?

Congrats on your new Bus Card!

If you already have another AmEx, you can request a 3 x CLI every 181 days per card holder (not card). So if you have more than one card, you must choose the one you want to request the CLI for. You should check this thread out. It's a very long read, but the first page and the last few are helpful.
