On Wednesday, May 23rd 2018, I was approved for an Amex Business Platinum. They are currently offering 100k points on 5k 25k spend within 3 months. I couldn't resist the offer. I misunderstood the sign-up offer.
FICO 8 EQ 690, TU 706, EX 705. 90 Day Late from 2012. AZEO 8% / 2% utilization of 14.8K.
Applied as a sole proprietor, business name under my own, and revenue as my current job income. No hard inquiry as of yet (unsure whether it is because it is a business card or because I am already a card member).
Staring at my mailbox from my bedroom window. Scolding myself internally.

As some have pointed out, I have made a grave mistake. This is a case of mistaken sign-up bonuses. I now have to spend 10k just to reach 50k MR. I will switch all my spend to this card to make it work. I may ask a few family members which bills I can pay for them in return for cash.
Lesson: Don't apply for anything while you're working and very tired.

Congrats. In Amex Offers pre-approved offers usually are 75k MR for 5k. That’s what I had, but if mailers and offers are now 100k for 5k, WOW!
