I just got the Amex simply cash card two weeks ago. They gave me a 4000 CL. My question is do they do 3x CLI after 61 days on business cards? And how much do I need to spend on the card to get that.

It's truly hard to say how much to spend some have reported spending little while others a lot.

I have seen case of both getting the 3X and at the same time seen larger spenders not get any love.

So just spend however your pattern is and good luck.

No that's the problem I got the gold rewards that has the 50000 points if you spend 5000 in 3 months so I've been directing my spending there

I would say met your spending on gold and the simply card doesn't have to be at 61 days you can certainly push the date back when you can show more history with that card.and then ask for the 3X CLI
