Amex reinstatement clarity (plum card)

My plum card was canceled June, 2022.  I has missed a payment several months earlier which I didn't realize negated the net two statement pay timeline to just one statement.  I was devasated to have a late payment put on my personal credit.  Amex reached out the next month and said I could have my account reinstated if I paid off the balance of the plum card (~46k) and my other three amex cards (2 business and 1 personal) totaling another 15k.  I have now paid all the accounts to zero.

When I followed up on the reinsatement I was told just the plum card would be reinstated (plus removal of the late payment on my credit).  When I was initially enrolled in the program I was told my other credit cards would also be available again.  Amex is now saying this isn't possible.  I'm certain I was told the other cards would be turned back on as it was made clear only one charge card would be turned on I chose the plum and not my gold card.

Should I request the recorded call?  Or just be happy I get my Plum card back and the late removed from my credit?  I have a few 100,000 points I told I would get back on the Blue business card and I would like to have my Blue credit card back.  I'm not sure how to proceed.  If I wait six months will I most likely be approved for another card?

Any advice would be very helpful.

@tgwells

Was the Plum card the only one that had a late payment? Were the other ones late as well or not? I'm assuming you have 3 AmEx biz cards and 1 personal version? When your Plum card was late, what were the balances on the other 3?

As far as the late/derog reporting on personal reports, yes this is known to happen for biz cards depending upon the severity of the late payment.

Yes, the Plum card was the only card with a late payment.  The other two business cards (gold & blue) had balances of 5k & 9k. My personal card was around 1k.

The 60 late that is currently on my personal credit should be removed shortly which was a part of the reinstatement program.  Once all my cards were paid to zero the plum card to be reinstated and the late would be removed.
