I'm happy to report my second business credit card approval this month. Now don't get me wrong, I am satisfied with the SL but was hoping for $50K or higher since monthly business spend is heavy. I am assuming this will grow over time but please weigh in on that my fellow FICOers!
I figured I may as well credit shop in the same month this way the inquiries are together and will no longer count after 12 months. I've had my eye on the card for a while now and the 200,000 bonus points, which I can easily reach with my business spend so I went for it. I understand it will report on personal credit reports, which isn't a deal breaker for me as I have other business funding resources so I'll keep the spend low in the beginning and increase it as the limit increases. Maybe it will even increase my personal scores?
Personal Data Points:
✔️ FICO scores of 713 (EX) 728 (TRANS) 734 (EQ) at the time of credit pull
✔️ Established credit history (16 years 4 months)
✔️ Zero late payments
✔️ Zero collections
✔️ Zero derogatory public records
✔️ No delinquent accounts
✔️ 33% Total credit utilization
Business Data Points:
✔️ Established business with high revenue
✔️ High monthly business spend
Just last week I was also approved for the Chase Business Preferred card with a $34K SL. Should I go for one more or is that pressing my luck and I should just duck back into the garden? 🤣🤣🤣
Any questions just ask away.
My only question is if you were going for a SL on the larger side why did you choose Cap1 especially with your profile? Cap1 reports to personal as well which is less than ideal given your options. Chase and Amex I think would show you a lotta love
