I started a business this week and decided I need a credit card to start building credit but more importantly to help steamline the bookkeeping. I appd for the spark classic considering my limited business credit history and got the 7-10 day message. Called in and CSR told me to expect my card in 4 -6 business days. I definitely wasn't expecting an approval so Im happy about that. CSR did not know what my SL is.
DPs:
- Pulled my personal CR - EX, EQ & TU.
- Personal income - around 150k.
- Expected first year revenue - 200k
- Only other cap1 card I have is the QS1.
- Burned them on a 3k platinum about 4 years ago.
congrats, your background sounds similar to mine,(including the cap 1 burn) as I just bought into a small business as well and am working on expanding his first year.
I am a Cap 1 member but ended up going through Amex since im a customer there as well and they didnt pull my personal credit

Just keep in mind that the account reports to your personal credit.
