Barclays AA Aviator Biz- 75k SUB- approved- VERY low CL

A couple of DPs:

- Applied on 12/31/19- Went into review (7-10 days notice). Approved 1/12/20, so 9 business days if you count the 13th as the official day.

- Income is mid to low 80s.

- Stated Business income- 0/0 yrs- used items on online retail.

- 5/24 with being below 5/24 in May 2020.

- Already have a CIP approved in 11/22/19.

Got approved with a spending limit of 650.. yes you read that right.. lol 650, just yesterday.

The SUB is 1k spending within 90 days, you get 65k, 1 swipe from an employee card, gets that extra 10k.

Total Credit Line- $89,300| Personal- $78,650 | Biz- $5,650
Current Score [F9]: EX-721 || TU-759 || EQ-768 || AAoA-2yrs7mo || uti- 1% || 100% payment history || 9 inq

Well, you're in -- hopefully the CLI are SP (and frequent!) Smiley LOL Congrats!

Thanks for all the DPs, including how long it took. That'll help others.

What bureau did they hit?

They typically pull TU.

OP, you can reach out to UW and see whether they're willing to reconsider the SL (might be a HP). Otherwise, it'll be a HP for any self-initated requests unless your account qualifies for auto-CLI in the future.

Congrats.

I applied a couple weeks ago and was 4/24 but they didn't like my recent inquiries (8) my last credit card was opened in November.

TU Fico 8 700

4/24

8 inquiries

Utilization > 5% (>$100)

Income mid to high 100s

Have a Barclays Visa opened up in 8/2019

Congrats on the approval.

At least you're in. I guess, as opposed to a denial. Also a good thing that the spend is only $1K for 65K points, since your SL is so low. If it was the typical Amex $3K requirement, it would be tough without multiple payments.

Re: Barclays AA Aviator Biz- 75k SUB- approved- VERY low CL

I got this card for the SUB in 2017.

Self-employed for 11 years in insurance and income of over $200k annually.

My total CL is almost $300k.

They approved me with a $2,000 limit. I need to make purchases of $10k+ and they provided no means for me to do so so I canceled 10/2018.

I want this card again for the AA EQD at only $25k in spend but I can’t do it with a $2k card limit.

Ugh....

What’s really stupid is that I have an AA Aviator Silver personal card that I spend $50k/year on....
