I have a BBP with a $2,000 limit. They of course allow you to go over the limit as long as you pay the overage by the next statement payment due date. I am at $2,500 right now. I requested a CLI 64 days ago and was denied because the card was too new (about three months old at the time).
I’m still in the 0% interest intro period so will
Prob only pay about $1,000 of the balance when it’s due in two weeks.
My question...credit score/report info aside, is it a good or bad time to apply for a CLI while I’m over my limit (again, which is allowed)...hence the reason for needing a higher limit.
