Chase 5/24 non-qualified but received invite in mail

Question; I received a mailer inviting me to apply for a Chase Ink Unlimited Business card. I've opend up 8 new personal cc accounts within the past 2 year, 3 of which would drop off the 5/24 radar in the next couple of months. I've also opened an Amex business card that is also up for a 3x CLI in the next week or so. That being said, they sent this mailer with an invitation code despite my being on the mailer opt out list so I'm intrigued.

I do know I attempted to apply for one of these cards maybe 6 months ago which kind of either got lost in the shuffle on their end because they were asking for business docs I had to get from the IRS. In any case, I'm wondering if this mailer is a backdoor from Chase saying "Hey, we see Amex is trusting you with a business card, let us compete!"

Stats: TU ~ 745; EX ~736; EQ ~ 711-705 (recent decrease from balance) Overall Util is under 20% on personal side and AAoA is 6 years.

Thoughts?

Note I made my reply Here  a separate thread intead.

Chase does not know about or see your Amex Business card. So it's not that.

I saw you other post first, but here goes again. IMO, I would wait for those to fall off if you really want the card. These situations are YMMV, and don't always have a positive outcome.

If it notes an APR range rather than a set apr, then it’s just slick marketing

Re: Chase 5/24 non-qualified but received invite in mail

Thing is if I let the other ones fall off in a few months I will still be at 5 new CCs in the past 24 months. I guess I'm trying to figure out why they would reach out now exactly?

Re: Chase 5/24 non-qualified but received invite in mail

I app'd and was approved 6 months ago for the Ink unlimited.  I continue to receive a mailer inviting me to apply for the same card.  Maybe its just their left hand not knowing the right hand says 5/24

Marketing at its finest, I get offers for CC I already have. Just recently for the Amex Gold.
