The Ink Cash gives 5x points for "Internet and Cable services". I recently opened this card and have loaded most of my spend on it to hit the intro bonus. To my surprise the following services code as Internet or Cable services instead of streaming, at least for purposes of this card. I'm guessing this is just for the Ink side of the Chase house since they qualify as streaming for personal cards such as the CSP but I'm not sure why there would be a difference.
I'd say the reasons the coding on the business side are likely more generalized, perhaps for easier spend tracking and/or accounting purposes.
Thanks for posting this. I run vacation rentals and use those services, and I am pretty sure I have them on another card. I'll move them over to the Ink. Nice!
The Ink Cash gets me 5x on my internet ISP, Hulu, Netflix, and SiriusXM. It did not work for Max.
Xfinity payment via Paypal got the 5%.
Does it work also for YouTube Music/TV? I am examining them in this month and would update after 2-3 weeks.
PS: One option to avoid getting impacted by coding can be purchasing GCs at high discounts and using them for services like Netflix. I never done it before while I am double checking the options.
Thanks for the details...
