Chase ink CLI, mistake?

So I recently got approved for a csp and the ink premier 3 days apart. The premier starting line was $20,000, I called in to see about having it raised, I was informed that I could request an increase and they asked my permission to pull credit, I agreed.

The customer service representative told me that I there was a 7-10 day message and this likely meant someone had to review the request.  I checked  my account this morning and the limit was raised to $25,000.  How does this effect any future requests or auto increases?  Im thinking i should have waited, but who knows.

Hard to say if, or how it will affect future CLIs, or maybe I should say affect when you will be eligible again. Did they count your CLI request now or do they just have you starting with that SL? That may be a question for one of their CSRs. Either way, well done, congrats on your approvals!!

Re: Chase ink CLI, mistake?

I first called the business recon department, asked them to reconsider the starting limit, he said first i needed to apply for a cli and if it were to be denied that i should call the recon department. So this definitely counts as a customer initiated cli request.

the card will get heavy usage, so in the long term I expect the limit will grow.  In the short term chase will miss out on some hefty swipe fees and i will miss out on the extra 1/2%.  I suspect we will both survive 😉

Congratulations on your approvals for both cards and CLI increase.  Your success in getting back to back cards and a CLI right out of the gate seems quite unusual for Chase, which is for many of us a tough nut to crack.  I doubt it will have any impact on your future with Chase, which looks quite promising.

Do you have the number for the business recon line? Do they change SL if requested

Re: Chase ink CLI, mistake?

I never thought to ask for a CLI right off the bat.  This was the first card that my first business was approved for.  I have two more businesses and haven't applied for them yet.  I'm glad to hear that Chase worked with you right from the start.
