Cardmatch isn't smart enough to know rules like 5/24. It only matches score and major metrics with cards and is based on marketing from their partners. So just because cardmatch doesn't show you a pre-approval doesn't mean you won't get approved. In this particular instance though I feel it's a strong indicator of tightening credit markets. The looser the credit markets are, the more pre-approvals will show up. As credit tightens so will the number of pre-approvals.
