Citi CostCo Business Executive Card

My Synagogue has been a CostCo Executive Member since it was established in 2012. Due to changes in the rules for tax exempt purchases at CostCo, we now want to get a Citi CostCo Business Executive Card. If the individual who is applying for the card has been personally pre-qualified for a Citi Personal CostCo card, does that have any impact on applying for a Business membership? A related question: Does the business application do a personal hard pull? We have a DUNS number, but I am not sure we have had anything reported against it. Finally, what happens when the Treasurer leaves (the person who is going to open the account), does he have to close the account or is there some way to inform Citi of the new person (it is a volunteer position and rotates every few years).

Not necessarily, different criteria. A related question: Does the business application do a personal hard pull? Yes, there will be a personal HP (either EQ or EX) and a business pull as well. We have a DUNS number, but I am not sure we have had anything reported against it. Finally, what happens when the Treasurer leaves (the person who is going to open the account), does he have to close the account or is there some way to inform Citi of the new person (it is a volunteer position and rotates every few years). Since the Citi business CCs are PG, if the Trasurer leaves, the card is non-transferrable. Whoever will be your new Treasurer (or designated authorized signer) will need to reapply.

See above.

Is there a pre-qualification page for these cards?

Not for business cards, AFAIK.

Citi recently revamped/reintroduced a pre-selected tool on their site, but it's for personal cards only. Key word being 'pre-selected' -- not pre-qualified or pre-approved.
