Incorporating vs foreign entity registeration in MD for business credit cards

I'm currently a resident and have a LLC registered in California (originally incorporated in Wyoming). I really want access to banks such as Citiznes/Truist/SECU/NASA which all require residency or a foreign entity registeration in East Coast states. Does it matter whether I make a foreign entity registeration vs. incorporating a new business (getting a new EIN) in terms of getting business credit? As they all PG, would it be more about ticking the location box while checking my personal credit or would age of the business play a factor (age of new business vs. existing business from foreign entity registeration)?

IF they are demanding residency for needing to do a foreign registration, then that would need to be in a state within the footprint.
