My dad was lucky enough to get an instant approval on a Ink Plus card recently, but he's had a business checking account with Chase for 6 years as well as a converted Wamu credit card. They wouldn't raise the limit on the card from $7,000 nor would they lower the rate from 26.24% but they were more than happy to give him a new $18,000 line.
