Well I didnt expect this. Everything I read said that Chase doesnt report business cards against a personal credit report. Guess its not true. Not that I really care, its a nice boost to my available limit but I usually have a relatively high limit reporting (still always PIF) Anyone else see this?
Which report? I have three ink cards (and many AU on those cards) and none of it shows on any of my real TU, EX or EU reports. They do show on Credit Karma but that's just because my bank accounts are linked to my profile.
Obviously it's a new card? Perhaps give Chase a ring and see what's up with the card reporting on personal. I would call Chase before I started down the path of any of the bureaus.
Something is not right. Are you pulling the reports from MyFico or direct from the bureaus? I just looked at an older direct pull from Ex and none of my three Ink cards are on it. I also looked at the most recent paid pulls from EX, EU and TU here on My Fico and not there either.
You should call the number on the back of the Ink card and see what they have to say about this. Keep us posted.
I'm going to ask to have this thread moved to the Business area. More cardholders there should have something to say.
I just recently got the Chase Ink card and asked them about reporting, this is what they responded:
Business card accounts are not reported to the credit
reporting agencies unless they become sixty days past due.
Should this occur, you are personally responsible for the
outstanding balance on your business card account in
accordance with the terms of your Cardmember Agreement.
For this reason, information on your credit file may
reflect payment history, including any late payments or
related delinquency on this account.

Yeah I havent even had the account for 60 days... I will send them a secure message I guess.
I think its just a simple reporting error and can easily be fixed..
Update:
SM FINALLY got back to me... a whole 5 hours after I spent an hour on the phone with a very friendly and polite credit analyist!
Turns out it was a bug in their system from the massive app spree they had with that small business week bonus going on. They are requesting removal from the credit bureaus! The poor credit analyst was just as confused as I was about the whole thing! Took her climbing every chain she had before she FINALLY found out what happened, and I was not the only one affected by this.
Awesome! Glad they fixed it for you but sorry about the hour on the phone. Thanks for documenting the experience here so others can search it out and learn.

Glad it worked out for you
