APPROVED!!! Omg that was the hardest I ever fought for something!
application wasn't even processed because Chase only allows you to get 1 card every 6 months and last month my mother opened a Zappos card.
I called with her on phone and I said application simply said you could not apply if you had been DECLINED within 6 months, they said lets reconsider, so I got transferred 3 times total to a special credit analyst for the Ink cards. I explained I applied for the charge card because I was not interested in anymore credit and I was looking to replace my Amex Charge because I liked Chase better (he REALLY liked to hear this and mentioned it a couple times)
He pulled credit and was very concerned about debt and adding more stress with more payments and after about a 10 min hold he said he just could not approve application (by this time we had been on the phone for 30 min already)
I said this is a charge card, Chase must have a way to set internal limits on the card while we show who we are and what kind of customer we would be, I said I would be fine if they set the internal limit to $500 or $1000 I will just pay weekly to show this is not going to cause us issues with more debt, I explained when we started first business Amex would not let us go over 3k but our internal limit now is over 15k... he really liked this idea and said I'm not comfortable approving but let me talk to manager, so after a 5 min hold again, he comes back and says they are comfortable with this, you will receive cards within 7 days for the Ink Bold!!! WOOOT! YAY
