So I have a Chase persnal card and checking accoount. My account has about 8 credit cards that have a green star next to them that say Pre-Approved. According to my research that means they are soft pull cards. This means I can add a business card without a hard pull...correct? This wont even show on my opersonal credit, just my business profile, unless I default. I currently have 2 AMEX business cards, this would be good for another bank on my business profile. Then its deciding which card....
Ink Business Unlimited, Ink Business Preferred, Ink Business Cash, Ink Business Premier, or Sapphire Reserve for Business.
I'm leaning towards the Ink Business Cash which has a $750 SUB with a $6k Spend.
I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure when my husband had one of those pre-approved offers that he still had an inquiry on his Experian.
I think they mean you're preapproved with just a soft pull...but if you actually apply, you should see a message about a hard credit check coming.

From what i have read its just like AMEX, once you have 1 card and are in their system when then have a preapproved offer in your persinal offers the personal cards are a soft pull only. I have some conflicting info on the business cards. In one instance I read that All Chase business cards have a hard pull, but another said EXCEPT when the preapproved offer shows up in your account. Somjust trying to verify if I get a pull or not. I guess I could freeze my accounts and pull the trigger.

no, you will eat a TU or TU + Exp or Exp pull for the application still. they HP on all applications.
but provided you aren't late, it won't show on personal (other than the inquiry) correct

It will be a HP or a double HP from different CRA's no such thing as SP Chase approvals.
I think when I accepted a Pre-Approved offer - it was a hard pull on Experian.

Froze my reports and applied for the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card. Got a notice that they were reviewing it...then got a letter asking to unfreeze Equifax. So deciding if its warth a pull.
