I wanted to share my details on the approval for this card, since it seemed to fall outside of most chase applications.
To start, scores are all just above 800.
7/24 when applying for this card.
Chase southwest opened a month ago when at 6/24.
10 hard pulls. 4 of those are chase, 3 within the last year.
Registered my DBA about a week ago for online retail.
Filled out the application and was honest with everything. Personal income at 60k, annual business income at 1k (just a couple ebay sales).
First card I was not instantly approved for. Got the dreaded "Contact you by mail within 30 days." I called the status hotline and after entering my SSN it would ask for my 16 digit card number before connecting me to an agent. Tried a few times throughout the day.
Next morning got an email requesting proof of my EIN. Sent the letter from the IRS. Again, another dreaded "30 days by mail." Called again, same scenario.
Woke up the following day to an approval and should receive my card within 3-5 business days. Won't know the limit till it gets here.
Congratulations for your new card approval.
Congrats on your approval. Patience and persitence pays!
Congrats on your Southwest Business Performance approval.
Nice to see a 5/24 exception on the business side.
Congratulations on your Chase approval!🥂🎉🍾
Hi! Congrats on your approval!
I got approved for the Southwest Business Visa Premier (I wasn't sure if I'd get approved for the Performance) with a 5k initial limit (only 1.5 yo business with low revenue, no previous Chase cards, 85k income) a few weeks ago. I charged half of a lease deposit for a commercial kitchen on it in the amount of 4300 two days ago, and paid it down to 5% utilization today.
Do you mind telling your initial credit limit and if you've had a CLI since you were approved, and if so, when it happened?
Did you request it or did they do it automatically?
How much was the increase?
Were you using it heavily?
Were you paying in full to get the increase or keeping very low utilization?
I'm working up to apply for the Chase Business Ink cards.
Thank you in advance, and I hope your business is thriving!
