I applied for a Staples Net 30 account for my business over the weekend, and was given a phone number to call to complete the application process. Today I called and was offered an acount if I would provide a PG. My business is 4 years old but only has 2 years of reported business credit information, and I was told 3 years of reported business credit information would be required to forego the PG. I told the representative that I will wait a year rather than provide the PG.
