So, after I got approved for the personal card a couple weeks back, I thought Id try my luck on their biz side. I applied the first time few weeks ago right after approved for personal card, and declined. ok, no big deal, I'll go in branch this time and open a business checking to move things along.
So, Biz checking opened last friday on July 20th with no issues, and the banking specialist asked me if I wanted to apply for a business card as well. (here we go again...recon time!) So, I stated I did last week, but was declined for INQ/New accts and explained them to the UW, and was disappointed in the outcome 
So, he says, well let's apply again since you're here in branch, and if we get the same response, I'll have my branch call into UW and see if we can get it overturned. ok, great!
So, applied (with the short version app that popped up for him), and came back as duplicate app/denied. So, he said, let's give this to next week and see what happens when my branch manager returns. Fast forward to yesterday, my rep calls me with good news! Says, his manager called UW and was able to get it overturned, and approved with a $1k limit! Awwesome, I'll take it, and thank you!! 
So, branch managers do have a little pull if you go in branch, especially if you open an account Showed up today in my online account.
Congrats Pizza! I was eyeing that card recently (I want a Visa or Mastercard for my biz) but I don’t have a branch nearby.
