There is not much information online about what typically or what could happen to business credit reports during a merger or acquisition or spinoff. D&B goes off a DUNS number and EQ/EX assumably goes off an EIN so I assume the acquirer chooses one of the two entities’ DUNS/EIN numbers? And the other DUNS/EIN pair is disregarded?
