What is the end goal of using vendors for business credit?

I read about and see plenty of videos with people trying to build business credit using vendors to avoid using a pg. A pg is going to be required for real  bank financial products, unless you're a multi million dollar company. So what the end game of spending all this money on vendors? A no pg Sam's club card? Maybe a no pg Home Depot card? Getting your personal credit in order will get you much farther than vendor credit.

The end goal is to separate personal and business finances and liabilities. You never know what calamity may happen, if it does, you don't want your house on the line.

IMO.
