12 Months between applications with Discover.......denied for cash back card.

With a 727 fico on their website, no missed payments on my entire profile, no deragatory marks. Denied this morning due to this rule i wasn't aware of. According to the CSR it's an instant denial if you got another discover card within a 12 month or less window during your application.

This is correct. You must be over 12 months. Apply in month 13 youll probably see an approval. Lol, ive thrown away a hp forgetting this rule myself

Can also check the pre-qualify.  At the very least, it'll tell ya whether or not you're able to apply again.  Obviously any offers, GTG.  No offers should mean you're technically able to and could still get approved if you cold app.  And if you're not able to because of the time frame, it'll straight up state that too!
