500th Post and Thinking Out Loud about AMEX

For 500th post I decided to make it as meaningful as possible so I'd like to review my AMEX strategy.

Next week is my 180th day since last CLI on my Amex Delta and plan on going for $25K. Wish I had the cajones to go for the full $45k.

Anyway once I have that behind me I plan on adding another card, the SPG this summer. I'd like to let my Experian file simmer until May at least before applying. My thought is I will apply for SPG (waiting for app offer actually) and maybe a 4th card as well. My MSD is 1983 and it would great to have 4 Amices reporting towards my AAoA.

Any suggestions on the 4th card and if I do the apps on the same day it should be a single HP right?

Should be a single HP. It usually is but of course everything can change so Aymmv.

For your 4th card, I'd suggest the EDP. You'll already have two branded cards and the EDP will be a good companion to the ORG for MR points. Nice MSD bye and I thought my 1989 was good

Did you request a cli yet? I'm curious if you get the 45k. Reading other posts, 40% of income is a cl Amex is believed to give, and you wouldn't be asking for nearly that much. Here's a recent post of a new 45k limit:

Stinky, yes I went for 45K and got the will hear in writing in 7-10 days. Assume they are going to request the doc. I will do so if they do.
