yes all 3 were un frozen for a week, I unfroze them when we went to buy a new car and said ill do a few apps while our credit was unfrozen.

OP I think the simple answer to why you didn’t get an increase is that you haven’t used the card in a year. Just my 2 cents. I have the Lowe’s card and mine is up to 31K. I found that the more usage the better the CLI I received. It’s not your score.
youre probably right, Gonna have to find something to buy in the mean time. Were not breaking ground on our house till march of next year.

If you are talking about a credit limit increase...see my scores below...I am always denied a credit limit increase. The reason given is that I have not utilized a high enough percentage of my existing credit line with them. It basically is because I always PIF, so I have very rarely even been over 10% utilization on any cards. I have been rejected on credit limit increases so often I do not even bother with it anymore, My starting credit lines are almost always 10,000 dollars or more.

It just seems so contradictory for the report to talk about how bad CFAs are for one's credit profile, even stating that these types of loans are for persons with less than perfect credit. Obviously, your scores prove you're not this type of person. This doesn't even make sense. SMH
So, I have to ask -- how many CFAs do you have on your report? I'm just trying to figure out if Lowes just picked a silly reason out of the sky.
That is not a reason for a denial, it is the reasons the scores are not 850. I have actually gotten this when I pulled my fico scores here at myfico, for the mortgage scores. I did not know until then that Honda Finance of America was considered a finance company. Any finance company accounts will be looked at as a negative data point. The big rub was, I went to my credit union and refinanced the motorcycle loan the next day, so having American Honda on the report for 1 day was a negative.

I agree with you info, I think the scoring models are being adjusted again, our reported balances arent any concern right now, I am playing with our scores to see what works best. a 10-15% balance seems to give me the highest score but a 0-2% balance gets my wife the highest scores. According to experians simulator basicly making our newest account 9+months old will get me back to 850. Getting this new lincoln only dropped the score to 805 so its defentaly interesting trying to figure out exact forumlas.
You don't play the game, the game plays you!
I agree with you! there are too many people on the forums acting beyond elite because of their score and gets angry when someone with a lower score gets the card they wanted. Perhaps the person who got the cards makes more money lbvs.
