AARP 7-10 Days...

Just applied and got the "wait" messege. Oh, I'm nervous. Someone remind me to breathe please!

I've only ever had insta- approval/denies. Chase doesn't seem too interested in letting me grow. Some might say neglect! But I know they're watching >.< lol.

it's only been 45mins and I'm already going crazy...

how am I to survive 7-10 days? Smiley Surprised

Right.  It all depends OP.  In some odd ball instances it can yield an approval.  What does the automated phone system say?  If it mentions anything with a 30-day or 2-week message it may point to your chances being good.  7-10 day message not so much.  Hopefully good news.

Re: AARP 7-10 Days...

Where I can find the number for the automated system?

edit: nvm I located it. The strangely pleasant robot lady informed me that they would notify me by mail in approx. 2 weeks.

Ok, so this looks like a good sign OP.  Just check periodically (please don't drive yourself mad checking every hour).  Give it several days and check again or view your Chase online profile to see if the card displays at some point.

You're abosolutely right. Calm & Cool. I'll watch for it in my account. Wait a few days and try the number again. Thanks for all the info Smiley Happy

Sure, anytime.  Just give it a couple days or so and try the automated system again.  This calling affair can last for a bit Smiley Tongue  As, long as the message remains as 30-days (or 2-weeks) you should be good.  Of course, I can't guarantee your approval but that's been my experience and most folks with those messages.  Good luck OP!

2 weeks, you are golden. I checked mine twice a day for 7 straight days before it finally approved. Was a great feeling lol

I'm 10/10 with the 2 week message. I have 11 cards from Chase but #1 I did call back in the day.

Re: AARP 7-10 Days...

Best thing with Chase is to wait. Calling the robot is fine.

Never ever call and talk to someone.

Congratz in advance.

If its a denial, I'm sorry.

Stay positive, you can see I got mine after a denial 3 months before.

250k+ CL and climbing.
