Today while I was fiddling around on Amex, a pop-up asked if I'd like to take a survey after I was done. I said sure!!
The survey asked a few questions, basically what you'd expect--how does the site work for you, does it look appealing, are its features easy to find, etc. Then it had a couple of places for comments/feedback. My fingers took off! I told them that the CLI button/link has been missing for months now, and they should check this forum to see how much it's been discussed!
I said it would be greatly appreciated to have that link restored.
So at least I got it off my chest.
There goes the link

@OmarGB9 wrote:Well, *I* was finally able to request a CLI after about 100 days. Got denied of course. But the interesting DP here is that I had to wait far more than the usual 61 days for a new account. Perhaps that's changed.
Can you elaborate more on this? What were your current data points at the time of the CLI request? What is your current limit and how much did you request? Since I also recently acquired this card, I would be interested to know more.
Started at $1k on 12/17/21. Tried for CLI at 61 days, system wouldn't let me, saying "you recently opened an account with us." Kept trying every week until it finally let me after about 100 days. Utilization has hovered between 28-35%. Income ~$80k, EX 8 score around 685.
@raisemysc0re wrote:@raisemysc0re I hope that they approve your request! Thank you for sharing this with us! I currently have a limit of $25K on my BCP. I was curious of your path to get your card to $35K. If not too personal/ and you're willing to share, what was your starting limit and what limit increases did you request to get here? I started out at $10K. Did a request for a CLI at 6 months that took me to $20K. Then did another request for a CLI 6 months later to get it to $25K. I've been at $25K for the last 11 months. Debating whether I want to ask for $5K or $10K on my next request.
I started off at 15K.
Got cli approval to 30K at 91 days.
Another CLI approval to 35K a little over 6 months later.
6 months after that I tried this CLI to get to 40K and I'm still waiting for their decision.
@raisemysc0re thank you so much for sharing these details with me! I appreciate it, it is very helpful! I hope you get your $40K limit!
Asked for my usual 5k increase on 4/3 using the link. First time they've asked for bank info so I sent in the three PDFs instead of logging into the Chase account. 7-10 message.
66.8k in revolving credit from them across four accounts currently(91k in POT across my chargers). Might have hit my ceiling with them finally with 175k annual income reported and my AmEx spend in the high five figures.

Agreed! I don't understand why some folk like to tell big bro where the inside info lies...makes absolutely no sense to me. My guess is they are looking for validation, when in reality it leads to a fast shut down. (otherwise known as the myfico effect!) The trick is to keep your head down and try again later..smh.

I must've missed something. Hasn't the link ALREADY been gone for several months now?

Well, on my next survey @ocheosa, I'll make sure to tell the folks at American Express to sweep the forums for such feedback and tell them how easy it is for folks to obtain a 3x CLI -- I'll be sure to point them to the AmEx 3x CLI mega thread, this thread and the business forums too! j/k

YESSSSSS @ocheosa -- I'll even tell AmEx about your secret plans on the business cards and point them to your thread specifically 😂, but I shall wait for that survey! My fingers are dying, just dying to type it all out!
