AMEX Green Lifetime bonus message :-(

I was pre-approved for the Green card @ 30,000 points, so I logged out and went into incognito mode and got 45,000 Points.....and it gave me the Lifetime Language .....

Oh well.

Since you had Green in the past it makes sense that it wouldn't be available again. Unless you receive a targeted offer or referral without the lifetime language.

I'm thinking this will likely happen to me.  Had green back 97'-04' and cancelled it.  Still can't justify the gold, though.

Could you not simply have your Wife refer you?

I was looking around was “Pre-Approved” when I logged into my account. Filled out the info, click submit, and it did the weirdest thing ... not an approval or a decline.
We got your application and need to process it.
Go to the Application Status website - it says “In Progress” - check back in 24 hours.

Any thoughts ?

You decided to go for it without the SUB? 
Well, I'll be shocked if you have to wait the full 24 hours for the response, typically Amex is pretty fast on decisions regarding approvals.
