AMEX Pre-Qualified offers

I tried searching first, but saw mixed answers.

When I go to the AMEX pre-qualify page, this is what I get.

https://ibb.co/hRWc6YY

https://ibb.co/MMDfc3b

Is this pretty much an approval? I'm nervous to hit the apply button and get denied.

As always, thank you!

I didn't see any image there. Try posting them via photos instead of a link?

Re: AMEX Pre-Qualified offers

Thank you for letting me know! I don't see an option to post a photo.

The first screenshot, I get a message that says:

"NAME, check out this pre-qualified offer!

Even better, the Card you've matched with has exceptional perks so don't wait."

When I click on Apply, it says:

"Get a decision in as little as 30 seconds"

Re: AMEX Pre-Qualified offers

It was weird, I went to AMEX site (snuck in like I was trespassing lol) and got the usual we couldn't find any pre-screened offers for you at this time message. I then went up top to the other tab that says all cards. I scrolled down and the bonvoy ones had special offer banners next to them. But I know better than to click on that trick.  The banner says this offer may not be availible if you navigate away from this page.

Re: AMEX Pre-Qualified offers

You have a pre-qualification, so that means you meet the basic criteria.

Think of it as glancing as someone and going "Not bad"

Pre-approval is more of "Hey, you wanna go out?"

So, it's not a done deal, but it's a start.

Maybe if you tell us a bit more about your profile, some educated guesses could be made, like your EX 8 score, any negatives, your other cards, their limits and current balances.

You cannot post images yet as a new member, but if you continue participating, it won't be too long
