Hi, I applied for a Blue cash preferred over the weekend. I forgot to unfreeze my experian, so the soft pull didn't go through. Took care of this over the phone and was approved. The customer service rep didn't have details on my limit, apr% etc. I got an email just now, clicked on the link and it doesn't provide any details either.
If you pre-approve successfully online, does it show you your details on what you get? I'm not sure how to proceed without knowing what limit, APR%, etc. thanks!
Unfortunately, no
i posted a topic on this same thing back in spring.
they will tell you if you're approved or not with the soft pull
But it seems there is no way of knowing what the limit and Apr are without accepting the card and incurring the hard pull.
on the bright side Amex revolvers are known to grow fast thru soft pull CLIs as long as you pay in full every month.

nope you're just told if you're approved and given a button if you want to accept, the minimum approved limit AFAIK is $1k

what a bummer! hmmmm... **bleep**. I'm sure I'll be fine if I pull the trigger.. and haven't had a new card in a few years so..
If you already have an Amex, chances are you won't receive a HP even if you accept. I haven't had a HP from Amex since my first HP for the Gold Card in 2022.
