Was there a link you could click on to initiate the process, or is requesting a CLI only startable via a direct message conversation?
If it's really the entire process from scratch, will definitely wait the full year, especially since I haven't used it heavily given the other cards that have entered my line-up.
Definitely wait full year. All DPs regarding this were spot on. Even though I've utilized the card often and never carried a balance, have the CSs, and income, I went for the CLI, and was denied due basically not being with long enough. YMMV ands it's just a HP on EQ, but I seriously doubt you'd be approved for the CLI unfortunately. I also was given the 5K SL and wanted a CLI to 25K. I made a point not too able for any credit or take any HPs since I was approved by AOD plus CSs only improved during that time with uituilzation remaining less than 2-3%, yet I was still denied.
Also, for a CLI to initiate the process, you have to apply for a new loan and then proceed by checking credit card and requested limit. I did not have to submit all docs like the initial app process and can only surmise that UW was going to deny my request anyway thus why even request my financial papers It's okay though because I've made great use of the card since approval so happy I have at least the 5K CL.

TY for the DP on your experience!

Hey @1GaDawg85 , was wondering if you ever tried for a CLI on AOD since this post and if so, how did you make out?
I have not requested a CLI with them. I need to hold off until after I close on my house!
I have been wanting to get a CLI, but like others already said, CLI is handle basically same as a new account. POI is required. They put heavy emphasis on DTI ratio.
When my wife was approved it was for a much lower CL than she wanted and they told her to reapply at 6 months. She just got a CLI at 6 months. They did a HP but it was not a full application. They are very very conservative on DTI, especially have difficulty with self employment income so keep that in mind but it doesn't sound like you need to wait a year.
