Good afternoon,
Upon reviewing your credit card application, we have decided that your debt ratios are to high for us to approve. Would you still like to continue with your membership application?
What do I benefit of being a member ?
if I can't get a cc
Jccflat,
I had the same reason as well as too many new accounts. I also cancelled my request for membership because I am getting better rates at BECU, Redstone, and Navy Federal.
AOD seems like a solid CU, they just focus on DTI ratios and maybe new account sensitive. This is just my opinion and I only have my experience to back it up.

Sorry to hear about your AOD denial. However, in the denial
AOD told you what you can do to get approved: you'll have
to lower the debt ratios on your other tradelines. It might be
worth giving them a call to find out exactly what DTI ratio they
are looking for so you don't waste time in the future. So if you
still think it's worth it, you can open a savings/checking acct
and try again at a later date.
Sorry for your AOD denial![]()
So just for days points purposes...does your 5% util on 95k total limits have you anywhere near or over 50% util on one or more cards?
