I've been looking at setting some goals to aim for during my time gardening and I was wondering if anyone knew if Abound Credit Union is a HP to join? I've been looking at Nusenda & Addition Fi but I'm 99% sure both of those require HPs to join.
If there's no HP, I'm thinking I could set up an account & get some direct deposits flowing to encourage potential preapprovals.
Also I blame @PullingMeSoftly for setting me on this rotator binge. Need. Moar. Rotators.

I don't remember if there was a HP to join and they used the same for my credit card app, or if the HP was just for the card, but I think it was just for the card...
I would stick with that Redstone card in your sig. As someone with both cards.. abounds rotators are not that great, they tend to give pretty meh limits never give acli or manual cli. But they will allow you to resubmit your application for a HP and "maybe" an increase. Nothing is particularly bad with abound and they have some nice features, I just feel like every step of the way they make it just a tad more troublesome than it needs to be.
If you really want to go down crazy on "rotators" every Kroger family of cards has 5% digital wallet 3k/yr.

When I'm thinking of joining a credit union I email them and ask if it's a HP for membership, because these things change.
I can confirm that Nusenda is a HP on EX for membership (or was, anyway).
Great to have a nice base of rotators for going 5X-on-all-the-things @Tcal. The time and devotion to the cause start to become marginal after you've got the main bases covered, so it's always about finding the right ones that work with each other. I love the selectable rotators the most (VWest, Langley, Safe, and Citi CC are clutch). Like you I'm still on the hunt for new products, but have been turning into a hybrid travel person lately (sacrilege for the rotator nation!).
Abound was a SP for membership for me, and I believe Nusenda was as well IIRC. Be sure to call them before you go for it. Addition Financial is very strict about their geofence and field of members (I tried and took an L with them, but at least made it up to a supervisor!).
It's great that you've got Redstone, that's #1 in my book at the moment for 5%'ers, but I've got some Hilton and Chase things I need to do before that. I've got a Redtone pre-approval for the VS (10k) calling out my name, but I need to stay under 5/24 for the moment. GL in your pursuit of all things 5x!

See I love my Redstone card + banking with them in general—I just can't help but shake the feeling that the card is going to get nerfed *hard*. I want to set up contingency plans. (Though it looks like they might be closing the gates for out-of-region sign-ups so that should help).
As for Addition Financial, I'm pretty sure I qualify as an alumni. I'll be in Orlando for work so I'm going to stop by & ask questions. Hopefully it's not a HP.
Nusenda not being a HP is interesting, though most DPs i've seen are where they are trying for membership & the card simultaneously. I'll give them a call & find out.
Also, the Custom Cash is on my banned list. 2 HP from the same application (recon required me to do another HP just to say — nope you're still denied with no room for discussion. I am staying far far away from Citi.

The Kroger card family is definitely on my list. I just don't know if I have the patience for it. Especially when gardening for the Kroger card family means I could garden for something like the Altitude Reserve.

just curious where you heard this from? I have the card as well and never heard that before.

So I spoke to rep from Addition Fi in Orlando—it is not a hard pull to join which is nice. They were insistent I had to live in a qualifying county to be eligible, despite what their website said in person. With it being a SP, i'm going to try to get in anyway under that 'alumni' umbrella. I'll update later this week with how it goes.
when I called, I was told SP with a Chex HP
2/6, 6/12, 10/24
