Advice on what to apply for for my current situation

Hey everyone Im new to this forum and trying to build up my credit after a B/K in 2010. I currently have a quicksilver one with a $5500 limit a Venture one with $2000k cl. And a Barclays with a $500 limit. And lastly a secured cap one card that is about 10 yrs old with measly $250 cl. I also have a fingerhut card with a 3k limit. All cards are paid off to a zero balance except for the QS. It is at $2500 out of the 5500 limit. My fico 8 scores are equifax 691 Tu 670 and experian 695. My profile has not updated since paying off all balances. I'm planning on waiting for all cards to report the new balances. Then check scores and try to apply for a high CL card. What card would you try for with high limits but reasonable chances of being approved? I have 100% payment history no inquiries and have had 12 loans paid off in last 10 yrs. My payment history and avg account age is 66 months. Only negatives I have are a medical bill and a collection from my ex girlfriends veterinarian bill. Both show paid and were 500 each. Only shows on trans union the other 2 don't show the negatives. I'm trying to purchase a business in the fall and want to improve my utilization ratio hopefully bring my score up with it. Thanks for any suggestions or advice!! This forum is full of great information!

Since you have 2 decent lines with cap one, not sure why yiu are holding on to the secured card?

I would suggest trying some prequalify sites, such as discover, chase, citi and Amex.

Your Bk was discharged in 2010, did you include any major bsnks? Chase has a long memory, as well as citi and amex so you "may" be on their blacklist", . Discover is more forgiving , if you did include Amex they won't pull a report if you are on their list, that's kinda how you know.

No didn't burn anyone but the hospitals and medical. Didnt have any credit cards other than a cap one that got paid prior. Holding on to old capital one card because I thought it helps the age of your accounts. Should I close it or will it hurt my score?

Closing your account will not effect your AAoA, you can do a search on here to confirm.

Since you didn't include any lenders, I would try the prequalify sites, you might be pleasantly suprised.

You could probably get a AMEX BCE with that profile. Maybe even take a BT on the remainder of your QS balance depending on credit line. Also grows in 61 days to lower overall usage too.
