The bottom line is you have to treat every application consistantly.
There is no violation of any law involved. Amex is very consistent in blacklisting, and denying credit to those who burn them. Many of us have been through this and waited it out until we were off the blacklist. Your BK is way too new to expect that.
That was the other point, it says I may qualify in the future, why give someone false hope if ur on a black list?
It isn't false hope. Many get off the black list eventually.

Yep that is what the CSR was getting at... Oasis for OP if he can or is willing to pay back Amex.
