Yea I just uploaded again and corrected some stuff that may have potentially held me back. I previously didn't fill out line 5a with the Amex information cause I thought they put that in themselves and over the phone they never mention I needed to fill it out. Also on line 6a I used to keep return transcript AND account transcript box checked but when I opened the letter Amex sent me instructions said to only check 6a even tho it didn't say anything about not checking other boxes I went ahead and unchecked 6b just in case also unchecked line 7.I removed dashes by Ant numbers in phone number and ssn section as well in case that could have thrown anything off. All we can do is try our best at this point

I called in. They got the scripts back from equifax and it's under review. Will double back once I know something 

my original app was 4/21. Took a few corrections to 4506 to get here

Yesterday my wife re submitted her form for the 6th time I believe. Apparently they were saying the previous form was rejected because it appeared altered, 🙄. She did call twice after resubmitting and the backend department confirm that it was an acceptable form. Hopefully now it can be sent over to the IRS. Fingers crossed of course.

Update. My wife got a letter stating a decision has been reached. Of course I knew it was an instant denial so I recommended her to call them being that she could not see the letter. She told me that her length as a customer was too short. I guess she will have to wait sometime and try again.

Bummer. I wonder if they even reviewed the 4506. I sent mine before your wife and mine is still under review as of today when I called.

You can always call and ask if the backend team found your form acceptable which is what I had her do. This may speed up the process slightly or at least give you a head start on correcting any errors if any.

See what I mean ! They never even tell you what is altered !! I think that's just a spin move to get you off the phone. And I saw your most recent comment stating that they denied cause of history or something man call at least 2-3 more times to confirm that's actually the reason. Cause I've noticed sometimes they will say something and then when I call back again they will say something completely different. And never wait on letters and stuff if you end up submitting a new app don't wait on the letter immediately call up to get your reference number so you can submit the stupid form again immediately and speed things up. Cause the Amex applications auto expire every 30-45 days something like that. Smh but hopefully we figure this out glad to see I'm not the only one going through this bs thought I was going crazy. I have application still pending to everyone keep us updated on your apps please they have to be approving somebody 4506-c at the end of the day. Everyone can't be failing that form somebody is passing it.

I completely understand your frustration. Back in late April, my wife was given an offer of 125k SUB after 8k spend in the first 6 months for the platinum. She took advantage of the offer and shortly after applying for the platinum she was immediately hit with a pending status which resulted in the infamous 4506C form.

In the meantime, I suggested her apply for the Green since it was an option and per the language it's the better route to go. She was instantly approved for the green. For the time being, she has been putting a lot of spend on the green card.

Today, I suggested she try the reconsideration line in attempt to override the original decision for the platinum card. They submitted it for reconsideration but couldn't provide a timeline for a answer. Worse case, she will just wait 60/90 days an reapply. Her scores at the time was, EX: 725 TU: 722 EQ: 720. Her stated income is $100k but she put $110k on the application because she does get annual bonuses in the amount of $15k annually. Below I attached her original offer back on 4/28/24.
