Amex 4506-c

I'm ngl I've thrown a lot of those pre approval things from Amex in the trash cause I assumed it was gonna still ask me for the 4506-c and stuff but from what u describing seems like pre approvals kind of skips that ?

Correct. I believe her PUJ was only through referral links. I will say, she did submit the 4506-C late in April and several times in May. Her stated income is $100k but she put $110k on the application because she does get annual bonuses in the amount of $15k annually. 

To be clear, player 2 situation with PUJ and 4506-C was two separate issues. P2 was originally pre approved for the platinum back in April via the Amex offers. I don't want to mislead you in anyway. If you did get a 4506-C request then you must fill it out correctly. Have you tried calling? I can't remember what the department was but if you scroll back in this thread I believe o mentioned the name. Sorry it's escaping me at the moment. 

I posted the original offer from Amex back in April on this forum. Keep us posted on your situation.

Do you currently have any Amex cards? And yes, try one of the offers next time you receive it. Don't throw it away.

Nah but a bunch of my cousins have that applied same time as I did and were going through the same 4506 issues. I'm not gon lie I think I almost got approved but I missed their phone call twice in June. They call super randomly and it's like if you miss it your basically because when you try to call back they will act stupid like they don't see the phone call or something but if you able to catch that phone call can push through for approval. Very weird and unorthodox system. But also it seems like summer time is completely closed or something cause seems they not sending transcripts at all now well since summertime but may a bunch of my cousins got approved bac to bac to bac was crazy it's like certain seasons the irs send transcripts faster than others. I wish there was a way I could call irs and make them send it faster or something but I'll just have to keep waiting I guess. But oh yea definitely next pre approval envelope I won't throw it away then. Preciate dat tip

I understand. The 4506-C process is just all around frustrating. I can't imagine what a catastrophe a financial review would be like. Next time you get a offer try your odds there. 

Do you currently hold any Amex cards? If so it will be a soft pull. If not it will be a hard pull.

Nah I don't if I was a Amex member I wouldn't have to be going through the 4506 bs they usually only do this to new clients. And actually financial review is better long as your paying your bills with bank account in your name they won't close your account just make sure it's in your name and I think they look at ending balance if I remember correctly so not just the money going in and out but your ending statement balance

Oh ok. Yes then it will be a hard pull. Yea she tends pay her bills on time in PIF on all her cards. My P2 income actually pans out to more than what she listed her stated income as. She tends to save a decent amount of money as well so she's always in the positive. 

keep in mind that the application will be a hard pull so you might want to use caution with applying again especially if you're looking at other ecosystems. Primarily chase and their 5/24.
