Amex BCE CLI Possible Denial?

It has been slightly more than 180 days since the last CLI on the BCE. I went to request $24,000 total CL from Amex today.

Lo and behold..

a 7-10 day message

Probably because the BCE barely gets any use (I don't visit many grocery stores).

Not possible, probable. 

If in fact a denial you can try to recon.  Even though the odds on recon tend to be longish with AMEX they would have already said NO so at that point you'd only be in for the time of the additional phonecall.
