My AMEX Platinum approval was a soft pull as well. For that I was gratetful!

SL on both were 2k. The BCE was 23.75 %.
The Everyday is 17 and something % forgot exactly.

I have to say some people are getting approved with soft inq, including me I applyed for a second card and I was approved (No hard inq, and it was past 2 months since the app)

I got my BCP in Feb. App'd for PRG in April from a pre-qual mailer and was approved with a soft pull. App'd Delta Gold in May and was delined with a Hard pull. It seems the soft pulls for new credit are YMMV.
