Amex CLI

Its been six months since the first and last CLI on my amex, statement just cut and I request another (3x) cli and got the 7-10 day message. I charged anywhere from 500-700 a month and PIF .
Is this a flat out denial or is there a chance they might counter ? Is there a point in calling them to find out? Thanks in advance!

Call the number on the back of your card and they'll transfer you to the department that can tell you the answer right away.  They can't give you the reason. Fingers cross for you!

 

Edit: They can't give you the reason - if denied.

Called and they did say it was a denial and I can ask again in 90 days. Oh well - it was worth a shot 😝 I’ll see what the letter says
