When i try checking online for the reason because it will or is supposed to tell me under app status it says "My application cannot be processed, try again later"
However when i call, they my EX score is too low, thats what the automated system says anyways. When they open up, im going to try and talk to a representative.
They said too many new accounts, and Util is too high. Thats what the representative said. As for recon, im debating on it. I know Amex can be tough on recon, but i would prefer not to get a lower limit. I would like at least 2k, so maybe it might be best to wait till like between march - june to apply again.

Nah decided to go for the ED card as for sure thought it would be a shoe in with a 700+ ex fico... This still doesn't really make sense to me other then the utilization factor or possibly to many new tradelines? Amex doesn't care about inquiries though.
AMEX seems to love low UTIL, so that could be it. Will you be trying for one of the charge cards?
