If I applied for an Amex right now and my reports were frozen, how long do I have to unfreeze the reports so the same application will be considered with a pull?
So, lets say I applied on the first of the month, can I unfreeze my experian on lets say the 21st and have them do a hard pull then for the app?
No i think your report must be unfrozen when doing the app orherwise they will not be able to access report and eill probably just get auto denial. Id recommend apping when you feel ready
You need to have it unfrozen at the time of app or I believe some companies will take a code for them to unfreeze it just for that app. I think... not 100% sure but I think I have read that) You may want to search specifically for Amex and Frozen EX and see what comes up.
