Amex asked for access to my Wells Fargo bank acct

I have had a secure credit card for 2 months with 1000$ deposit, but I just recieved my SSN so applied for Amex. my credit score was 684 on TU then and Amex asked my permission to check my deposits at other bank,which was a 5500 deposit at Wells Fargo, I gave it the authentication and it granted me a 5000$ credit card meanwhile Discover gave me a 500$ credit with one of my friends invitation. at the same time I applied for Wells Fargo non secured, CITI, Chase and Bank of America, all of them declined. I am confused what was happedned

By what you have said, you appd for too much too fast.  It looks desperate to credit card issuers.  A common rookie mistake.  Stay a while, read the forums and get comfortable.  Good luck in the future.
