Amex credit card

Has anybody used CK approval odds to apply for American express gold card.... its telling me I have "excellent" approval odds....any info is greatly appreciated.

You may well have excellent chance with Amex depending on your profile but CK approving odds are closely associated with their advertisers and money they make pointing applicants in that direction, they are no pre-approvals. I would check Amex prequal site instead.

Sorry Brian, not all prequals are sp. There are members who have gotten prequalified and still hit with a hp. Profiles help determine whether one gets a sp or hp and i would always caution when soliciting credit to expect hp and be happy when its sp

Pretty sure Brian meant SP for using prequal site, not applying after being prequaled. The Amex prequal site, as well as most if not all prequal sites, are SP only.
