Decided to apply for BCE as I was preapproved through the Amex site, but go tthis message. Is this a bad sign? Im thinking yes 
just tried calling the new accounts department but got a recording saying theyre facing technical difficulties and to call back in 24 hours. this is what shows up on the check app status page
Looks like an approval to me. I've seen this before when I app'd for 2 cards at once. Had no problems and got both approvals.

It could still be a denial. Check your e-mail in the morning. If you're going to be approved, most likely it will be tomorrow morning.

Feel free to try to reach them sooner. As soon as the glitch is resolved you can find out what's going on with your account.
I JUST CALLED BACK! I AFTER VERIFICATION QUESTIONS..................I WAS APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM IN WITH AMEX!
Im realy at a loss for words, I finally feel like my rebuilding is going somewhere. Im in with some upper end lenders even if theyre just entry level cards, but it feels so good. The CSR I talked with made my freaking night when he was looking at my report and said to me "You can tell youve been working diligently on your credit for the past few years now. Im happy to say your hard work has paid off, youre now apart of the American Express family" AHHH!
