Hey guys,
I tried searching the forum for this but I'm not really sure how to word it to find the info I'm looking for. If this has been asked before, then I'm sorry and if this belongs in a different part of the forum, mods please move it.
Anyway, my question is for some future planning, I had 3 charge offs, 2 Discovers and 1 Capital One - around 6,000 and 1,400 respectively. I also have a collection from Citi for around 1,300. All these are set to fall off this year with the last one falling off around September from EQ. Does anyone know if they have long memories or if I'll be blacklisted from any one of them? If I app for one or some of the those, in particualr Capital One, do they approve people who've burned them in the past?
Thanks
C1 will be the most lenient. So yes trying them first is best but it will be 3HPs. You can get back in probably today.
It will be years for the other two.

I don't plan on apping for anything til close to the end of the year. My CO for CapOne went delinquent in 2016 and it was for around 1400. When all my baddies fall off, I should have near excellent credit, hopefully, so I'm hoping to get in with the Venture X.
I included both Cap One and Discover in my BK 13 filed 6 years ago.
The SP pre-approval links result in instant denial from Discover due to "previous relationship" and the only offers I get from Cap One are for secured cards which I have no use for.
Not sure how much longer I'll be on the BL and honestly don't care... I have plenty of other options at this point.
Cap One is the most forgiving of those three by far. They'd probably let you in now. Next would be Discover - based on a couple of DPs I've seen, they may let you back in once the CO with them falls off. Citi is likely to hold a grudge for years, especially if they weren't paid back.

Do you mind if I ask what your credit score was when you apped for Amex Delta? I'm hoping to app for Amex BCP when my baddies fall off. Also how the heck did you get your Ollo MC up to $4000? Mine is at 300 and it hasn't moved ever. Of course, I don't use it.
I got back with Capital One two months into a 1-year-long settlement agreement on a 3-year-old charge off.
I got back with Discover 15 years after a charge-off that I never paid. I tried several times over the years and was repeatedly turned down even for a secured card.

Thank you for the info, highly appreciated.
