Excellent analogy!!!
That's why you take your credit to the gym. Get lean and practice your game. Only after you're conditioned is when you should "ask her out". I'm going after Megan Fox (Chase Sapphire Preferred) once this damn collections gets removed.
The walk of shame in the dating world is when people see the woman leaving early in the morning. They know what happned the night before Might be a little different in the credit world. Like one of us being excited about applying for new credit then having to come back to tell the board we were denied.

Agree wholeheartedly..... touche' (lol).
I was talking to a buddy about this thread yesterday. We came up with a few other things. Some people might -
Exaggerate the size of their accounts.
Post account info that was better years ago (like younger pictures on a dating site)
And this one I thought was great - be credit promiscuous by trying to get credit from every lender that will give it to them.
Credit promiscuous... I think some members here can take this title!
Don't forget the recon request...
It's like standing outside the window, holding the boombox over your head with Peter Gabriel blaring for all to hear.
I hear all the hip couples add authorized users? C'mon! why do I feel like im the only one thinking questionable choices?

Yeah, you have to really be careful bringing an authorized user into your relationship. They'll party with you, but in the end you're the one held responsible.
Another way credit cards are like dating...
Just one night of crazy, uninhibited fun can leave you with monthly payments for years to come.
Also, while you're paying for that irresponsibility, other, more attractive cards you're interested in will tend to steer clear of you; but you'll be covered up with offers that are less than prime.
