Re: BB&T - Accept Offer

CL + APR = random CL

(this doesn't make much sense after thinking about it... maybe it's simpler to say there's no correlation between the APR and the CL they issue)

Most of the approvals I saw when scoping them out were the same $6500 approval amount even if the APR was different.  I don't really recall them handing baller limits out though.  IIRC the highest was 15K.

Re: BB&T - Accept Offer

Thanks to both of you! I reckon I'll comb through the main BB&T thread and see what SLs others with a 18-ish APR got

Re: BB&T - Accept Offer

My current SLs are 3000 Cap 1 QS, 14000 CareCredit, 25000 on Amex Cash Magnet, and 14500 on a Disco. Hopefully they'll give me 6000 to 7000 on the Bright.

Re: BB&T - Accept Offer

Well....I may not have been on to something with the apr's and sl's.  Like Obscure-Expert just posted a higher sl than I was thinking..it's definitely ymmv.  I will say that while you're reading through, there was ONE denial...don't know the reason but everyone else scored.  I had my doubts about the second one but I got that one too.  Just be sure to have your driver's license ready and pull your EQ report to fill in the blanks verbatim according to your EQ report and it should go smoothly.  Let us know what you decide!  GL too!!!!

Re: BB&T - Accept Offer

P.S.  If you don't have EQ report pull up Credit Karma EQ and comb through it.

I was approved for Bright ($19K) via pre-approval and posted it here.  Of course, outcomes as far as SL, APR, etc. will vastly differ for every profile.

My highest was 5.5K if that helps.  And like FinStar replied, the apr thing I was thinking was off.....idk but it worked in my favor. 10.5k x's two and my EQ fico was like 740ish and 9 was higher, like 770's?

so you're the new high water mark for BBT!

There aren't many extraordinary CL's though and there's a new thread floating around for CLI's and how they work with them as well that's trying to build steam.

Re: BB&T - Accept Offer

What s your rush ???

You have inquiries that stop scoring in a few weeks

Your youngest account is less then 6 moths old

Yes you are preapproved now but that doesnt mean you have to pull the trigger now.  By waiting just a few weeks, your report will look better and might translate into higher SL and/or APR

>5/2023 All 3 reports 840ish (F8) F9s = 850 but my app finger is still twitching
